  • HOP –  Human Operating Procedures  – Documents outlining the optimal procedures for working with KAT and ALEXA.

  • Live Smart Connect  
    • The go-to resource for the quickest answers and explanations that assist in Fan service relating to KAT and Alexa. 
    • The Live Smart Connect Portal provides self-help for all crew when interacting with Fans, KAT, and Alexa. 
    • The Live Smart Connect Team is here to support you 24-7 – Submit a service ticket here  
  • KAT: Fan Chat interface platform. 
    • Handles pre and post Fan questions, as well as questions that arise during their stay
    • Available on computers and/or phones and through Facebook Messenger. KAT can “partner” with Alexa to solve problems and create delightful fan experiences 
    • KAT runs on the Quicktext platform supported by the Live Smart Connect Team 
  • Alexa: Smart device in Fan rooms enabling Fans to get information directly. Example: “Alexa, What time does the Constant Grind open for lunch?” Alexa differs from KAT in that she’s an “In-room” experience only. 
  • Amazon ASP – Amazon “Alexa Smart Properties” formerly A4H, Alexa for Hospitality 
  • NLP & NLU – Natural Language Processing or Understanding – An Ai technology that both Alexa and KAT use to understand the intent of whomever they’re conversing with
